It is the start of another brand new day.
Which all too soon will slip away.
There is laughter to share with a friend and fences to mend.
Before at last this day comes to an end.
There are things to do to make this a special day.
Like songs to sing and games to play.
People to hug and kiss.
Grudges held too long which I need to dismiss.
There will be time for us to have some fun.
Before together we watch the setting of the sun.
Today is a brand new day.
